Magnifier Lamp works great for any room in the house!
I bought this lamp for my great aunt and she cannot stop talking about it! She loves it for reading crossword puzzles and her favorite hobby: needlepoint. It has a plug-in adaptor but it also runs on batteries so she can take it from the den to the bedroom to read at night. It's super bright and she can adjust it to whatever height she needs it.

Pleased with floor lamp
I'm pleased with the lamp. Assembly was straightforward and the cost was reasonable. While the lamp is advertised as 5' it is more like 48 to 52 inches when the lamphead is bent for reading. For someone 5'8" it is quite acceptable.
